Jeremiah 29:10

For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.

God is so anxious to help them out, if they would but call to Him (vs 12), and seek Him (vs 13). He wqas ready to give them what they wanted most, to return to their home land.
