Jeremiah 35:14 - Additional Comments

This shows why God allowed the wine to be placed before the Rechabites -- God wanted the men of Judah to see their obedience in an attempt for them to wake up and become obedient. God works in many ways to wake us up to see our sin and to bring us to repentance and obedience. God is regularly throwing things into our lives to wake us up and draw us to Him. What has He been placing in your life lately? Is it working? Are you drawing closer to Him?
