Jeremiah 48:10 - Additional Comments
"Deceitfully" is also translated slothfully, negligently, with slackness. The Hebrew for it can be interpreted either way, with slackness or deceitfulness. How could those be the same concept?
2 Tim 2:15 "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth."
If you are not handling the word of truth properly, the reason is a lack of diligence, or being slothful, and the end result is misuse of the truth, or falsehood.
