John 14:10

Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

John 14:10 - Additional Comments

Jesus extends our view of the unity between God and Jesus. Earlier Jesus said He and God were one (John 10:30), but here we start seeing a further description of the depth of that. It is much more than a husband and wife (Gen 2:24). Seeing Jesus is seeing God. They are indistinguishable. Not like twins, where you can't tell which one you are seeing. When you see Jesus, you have seen the Father. When you get to know Jesus, you have gotten to know the Father. What we see Jesus do is exactly what God would do. Jesus does only what God would do, since God in Him does the work.
