John 15:8 - Additional Comments

Our number one priority in life, all that we should be, is to glorify Him. That should be what consumes us, what is our passion, what we live for. That is what is God wants as the grandest quest in our life. How can we glorify Him? By bearing much fruit. See the list of fruit in 15:2. How do we bear much fruit? Abiding in Him (see 15:4). Therefore, by abiding in Him, we are fulfilling our destiny of what God wants most in our lives.
