Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

Jesus' kingdom was spiritual, not military - Jesus has no political motives. The odd thing was that, little did they know, Jesus WAS in the process of setting up His kingdom. Jesus implies here that His kingdom would get set up, and nothing could stop it.
