John 9:41

Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

There are many around us who are blind. We are to bring the light of Jesus to them, and be lights ourselves. See Matt 5:14-16. We cannot be a light, nor shine His light, without a relationship with Him. We cannot shine the light unless we have the light ourselves.
