Joshua 6:1 - Additional Comments

Jericho was not interested in peace. Their hearts were hardened to their own destruction. Is God trying to get into an area of your life, and your heart is hardened to your own destruction?
Note that the very thing that Jericho rested on, that it felt was secure, even though going against God's army, was its walls. Therefore, God used that very thing as their downfall. Anything we rest on is but a vapor if it is against God.
