Joshua 6:18 - Additional Comments

They were to destroy all in the city, and not take anything with them (except some metals mentioned in verse 19). Anything in the world look attractive, inviting, tempting? Sometimes it's pretty hard to destroy or remove things that are supposedly fun or profitable, but lead to ruin, like alcoholism, smoking, obesity, pornography (even paying too much attention to attractive women), financial cheating, sexual promiscuity, reckless driving, etc.
