Summary of angels roles:
"The angels are the dispensers and administrators of the divine beneficence toward us; they regard our safety, undertake our defense, direct our ways, and exercise a constant solicitude that no evil befall us." John Calvin
Obviously, this describes angels who obey God, who have not rebelled and been driven our of heaven, who now serve the devil (see Mat 25:41 and Rev 12:9).
Amazingly, some angels who knew God, abandoned Him for a new abode, and were lost forever. This certainly shows us that some people will never turn to God, no matter what God reveals to them.
Here we see a picture of their fate - everlasting darkness, everlasting chains. See the angels index (angels.inx).
