Luke 1:45 - Additional Comments
Mary is not praised because she was pregnant with the Messiah, but because of her faith. This shows that the best praise an individual can receive is not who they are in the world, or what they have accomplished (which is important to God), but about their faith.
It was more important to have this faith than be humanly related to Him - Mark 3:31-35.
The knowledge of Mary's belief must have come from the Holy Spirit, and the prophesy that what was told her would come to pass.
This same Holy Spirit lives in us and teaches us, if we are willing to listen.
