Luke 2:38 - Additional Comments

The arrival of Jesus in Anna and Simeon's lives brought wholeness, completeness to their lives.
Lyrics from "The Logical Song" by Supertramp, from 1979 - "There are times when all the world's asleep, the questions run too deep, for such a simple man. Won't you please, please tell me what we've learned, I know it sounds absurd, but please tell me who I am."
Where have they progressed over the years? Lyrics from "Dead Man's Blues" by Supertramp, from 2002 (23 years later) - "Goin' through my life, day by day, Wonderin' why and what road it'll take, Sometimes low and sometimes high, Tryin' find a reason to live by... There ain't no promise, or guarantee, Ain't no wisdom being laid on me, And it's a low down dirty shame, But I gotta find the answer just the same."
Man yearns for purpose. These questions will linger in every soul until it finds truth, the same truth that Anna and Simeon found.
