The Old Testament speaks of these fulfilled prophesies of his birth and very early years - seed of a woman, descendant of Abraham, descendant of Isaac, descendant of Jacob, from the tribe of Judah, descendent of Jesse, descendant of David, heir to the throne of David, born in Bethlehem, time for His birth, to be born of a virgin, worshipped by shepherds, honored by great kings, slaughter of children, flight to Egypt.
