Luke 24:31 - Additional Comments
Amazing how Jesus was able to disappear and reappear. He always had power over physical things, but did not use it in this way until after the resurrection. But if he had power to transform water to wine physically, and dead people to life, He has power over anything physical. We need to understand this. And He has that power today. He doesn't readily use it today, for He has His purposes -- but He didn't use it often when He was in the flesh, except for healings.
The gospel of Christ is veiled to those who are perishing. We need to pray that that veil is removed to they can understand who He is and what they need to do. We shouldn't be surprised if they don't understand. See 2 Cor 4:3-4.
He vanished. He may have chosen a different method to travel because of His limited time before He returned to glory.
