Luke 4:6 - Additional Comments

This authority that Satan has, first was underneath God's authority (i.e. with less power than). Second, it was temporary. This can be compared to the authority Joseph had under Pharoah -- he only had it because it was given to him, it was temporary, and it could be taken away at any time by the one truly in power.
