Malachi 3:10 - Additional Comments

Tithing demonstrates 3 important aspects of our relationship with God -
- It is an act of obedience, expressing devotion to the Lord (God commands it)
- It acknowledges God owns everything. We are merely stewards of what He has entrusted to us.
- It expresses faith in God as Provider. We trust Him to meet our needs. (Matt 6:25-34 God said don't worry, He will take care of us)
Note that God does not promise riches... but he DOES promise blessings, to those who faithfully give. Compare to the blessed of God listed in Hebrews 11.
