The prediction of the Messiah is being fulfilled with Jesus - see Luke 4:17-21.
The kingdom of God is at hand - here, now, so close, presently available. For the kingdom of God, 2 things are being asked - repentance, and belief in Jesus as the good news, i.e. the gospel.
