Mark 10:27 - Additional Comments

Jesus didn't just look at them, for He already was (verse 23). This probably means He was looking them in the eye with intensity.
He is specifically referring to how the rich man (or any man) was unable to achieve eternal life on his own. It is impossible for man on his own to achieve eternal life, but with faith in Christ it becomes possible.
Note that Jesus is implying that even those who love riches can have eternal life (for that is impossible, eh?).
We should praise God for anyone being saved, for we know it must be a work of God.
