Mark 15:14

Then Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil hath he done? And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him.

But Pilate said to them, Why? What has He done that is evil? But they shouted with all their might all the more, Crucify Him [at once]!

And Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out exceedingly, Crucify him.

And Pilate said to them, Why, what evil has he done? But their cry was the louder, To the cross!

And Pilate said to them, What evil then has he done? But they cried out the more urgently, Crucify him.

And Pilate said to them, "Why, what evil has he done?" But they shouted all the more, "Crucify him."

Then Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil hath he done? And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him.

Y Pilato les decìa: ¿Por qué? ¿Qué mal ha hecho? Y ellos gritaban aùn más: ¡Crucifìcale!

Pilate objected, "But for what crime?" But they yelled all the louder, "Nail him to a cross!"

But Pilate said to them, "Why, what evil has He done?" But they shouted all the more, "Crucify Him!"

Y Pilato les decìa: "¿Por qué? ¿Qué mal ha hecho?" Y ellos gritaban aùn más: "¡Crucifìcalo!"

Pilate said to them, "Why, what evil has he done?" But they cried out exceedingly, "Crucify him!"

And Pilate said to them, `Why -- what evil did he?` and they cried out the more vehemently, `Crucify him;`

Pilate was trying to make this a reasonable court of law, with the proper justice. The people were not allowing it.
