Mark 2:5 - Additional Comments
Jesus handled the interruption without complaining. How do we handle interruptions? Do we see them as possibly divinely inspired?
Notice that it was not just the faith of the paralytic -- it was "their" faith, the group of them. Here is an example of how our faith can affect a friend to come to Jesus.
Note that Jesus does not say this man's sins WILL be forgiven, but ARE forgiven. They were forgiven right then. Before the resurrection of Jesus. Jesus power was so great that He could do so even without the blood sacrifice.
This shows that Jesus, while human, still had His divinity, for only God can forgive sins.
