Mark 9:16

And he asked the scribes, What question ye with them?

And He asked them, About what are you questioning {and} discussing with them?

And he asked them, What question ye with them?

And he said, What are you questioning them about?

And he asked them, What do ye question with them about?

And he asked them, "What are you arguing about with them?"

And he asked the scribes, What question ye with them?

Y El les preguntò: ¿Qué discutìs con ellos?

And He asked them, "What are you discussing with them?"

"¿Qué discuten con ellos?" les preguntò.

He asked the scribes, "What are you asking them?"

And he questioned the scribes, `What dispute ye with them?`

Jesus knew, but He asked anyway, so they all knew they were on the same page on what the issue was.
