Matthew 8:8

King James Version (KJV)

The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

Matthew 8:8 - Additional Comments

What faith this centurion had! He fully trusted Jesus' power, that one word would heal his servant. We saw the great faith of the leper in vs 2, and now the great faith of the centurion. Neither doubted that Jesus could perform the miracle, that Jesus could handle their request.
