This man does not seek the law out of fear or obligation, but delights in it.
God's law is to be desired more than gold, and are sweeter than honey - Psalm 19:9-10.
How? I've found when my children haven't spent much time learning a skill, they don't particularly like it, but once they become good at it through practice, they find themselves really enjoying it (e.g. tennis).
Is there something you delight in? People will catch you involved with it day and night. Delight in the law, and you will be caught in the Word during the day and at night. Do people ever catch you in the Word?
Be in the Word, but more importantly spend time breaking it apart, analyzing every aspect of it, pondering every nuance of it.
