What are we to know? That God is God, the same all-powerful One who made us, formed us with His hands. We come from God, not ourselves.
What is our status with God? We are His people, His sheep.
We worship in spirit (verses 1-2) and in now, in truth.
Know that the Lord is God - We worship the real and living God. And He is Lord, He is King, worthy of our obedience.
He made us - He is the creator. We worship Him because He is the author of all.
We are His people, His sheep - He is King, we are His nation. Not only does He rule, but He also has deep affection for us, as our Shepherd. We have this relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.
