Psalm 112:5 - Additional Comments

Again, he is gracious (vs 4). In his grace, he helps others financially. As Eph 4:28 says, we need to work partially for the purpose of being able to help others.
Eph 4:28 "Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need."
And, when you lend to help others, allow for them not being able to return it. It's okay.
Luke 6:34 "And if you lend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, in order to receive back the same amount.
Luke 6:35 "But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil men.
Heb 13:2 "Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels."
How do we make the right decision financially? God will guide us, using discretion, i.e. good judgment.
Lev 19:36 "You shall have honest scales, honest weights, an honest ephah, and an honest hin: I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt." (ephah = measure for grain; hin = liquid measure)
