"Clean" means pure, unblemished. Having the proper fear and respect of God is something we are to practice now that we will be doing for all eternity. We need to fear God, and not take too lightly or casually our relationship with Him. If there was more fear of Him, there would be less weakness to give in to temptation. Be afraid, for it is healthy.
God is truth, and any judgments He makes are in alignment with His word, which is truth. Righteousness is anything that aligns with who God is. The Bible reflects who God is - it is righteous.
