Zechariah 4:1 - Additional Comments
Notice Zechariah wasn't woekn from his sleep, he was awakened LIKE one from a sleep. He may have been awakened from his lack of attention to God, or from his lack of hering His voice.
Isn't this a perfect analogy of what God wishes to do to those of us wandering through life ignorant of His voice? How many times has God tried to tell you something and you weren't listening, or may have started to hear but shut Him out not wanting to hear it? Is there anything God has been trying to tell you lately that you've been unwilling to hear? Pause and ask Him. May we awake from any slumber we are in.
