In verse 14:53 we read that the chief priests, the elders, and the scribes had met late at night to condemn Jesus. This was very early in the morning, so they had probably spent the night at the assembly. That also probably meant Jesus endured mockings and beatings (vs 14:65) for most of the night.
Jesus was probably led to Pilate around 6 am.
