John 5:36

But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.

God did the miracles through Jesus (Acts 2:22).
Jesus' works bear witness of who He is (John 10:25).
The purpose of Jesus' miracles was to prove that Jesus was the Messiah. The ultimate proof was in His resurrection - power over death (John 2:18-19)
