For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.

Acts 13:27 - Additional Comments
As Paul condemns those in Jerusalem who would hear the voices of the prophets read so regularly did not know God, he could indirectly be implying that they could be n the same situation in this synagogue.
