God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel saying,

I still have seven thousand who havent quit,
Seven thousand who are loyal to the finish. Its the same today. Theres a fiercely loyal minority still—not many, perhaps, but probably more than you think. Theyre holding on, not because of what they think theyre going to get out of it, but because theyre convinced of Gods grace and purpose in choosing them. If they were only thinking of their own immediate self-interest, they would have left long ago.
