1 Corinthians 15:10

But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

But because God was so gracious, so very generous, here I am. And I’m not about to let his grace go to waste. Haven’t I worked hard trying to do more than any of the others? Even then, my work didn’t amount to all that much. It was God giving me the work to do, God giving me the energy to do it. So whether you heard it from me or from those others, it’s all the same: We spoke God’s truth and you entrusted your lives.

Our ability and strength to teach and minister is a gift from God, by His grace. It is only by His grace that we can successfully teach. As a teacher, we only are who we are by the grace of God. He has bestowed this on us. Any ministry you perform is enabled by God. it is important as you perform any work for God that you realize it is God working in you the enables you to perform that task. Be honored, and also be comforted, that He is at work.
