There needs to be a balance. God asks each of us to be humble, to be a servant, to give, to seeks the needs of others above our own needs. The wife really needs to consider the needs of her husband and accommodate these as much as practical. But, just as importantly (or maybe even more importantly, because of imbalances), the husband needs to pay attention to the needs and feelings of his wife, and understand and work with those as much as possible.
Sex tends to be a selfish act, not in a bad way, but a lot of the approach to sex is what each person gets out of it. But the goal is to pay attention to what the other person needs and wants and to seek to accommodate that. So, your goal should be as your approach sex is what can I do for my spouse.
The problem typically comes in where the wife tends to give more than the husband, so there is an imbalance. The wife tends to accommodate the husband more, to pay more attention to his needs, as the husbands tend to be more selfish in this area. Husbands, pay attention to your wife! Ask her if, how, when, what she wants! Be patient, loving. Remember that females boil gradually, throughout the day, and romance in the evening starts early in the morning and grows throughout the day. What are you doing to feed that throughout the day (or what are you doing negatively to cool it during the day)?
Wives, though, on the other hand, need to pay attention to the needs and wants of their husbands. Each couple is different, but typically the husband wants more sex. Wives should consider how to make that happen.
