Haha, I can picture the servant wearily looking around the room, at the handful of people there, and knowing there were not that many in their party. He must have wondered what Elisha was talking about. It wasn't until Elisha prayed (vs 17) that the servant was able to see the heavenly host there to support them.
We don't realize that the heavenly host are around us all the time, waiting to obey God at His command, working with God to accomplish His purposes. If only we would trust that God will take care of us.
