2 Samuel 13:1 - Additional Comments
The births of Abalom and Amnon is mentioned in 2 Sam 3:2-5. They were born in Hebron.
Amnon was David's first born son (1 Chron 3:1), and his mother was Ahinoam the Jezreelitess. Absalom was David's third son (1 Chron 3:1-2), and his mother was Maacah, the daughter of Talmai, king of Geshur.
This is the first mention of Tamar. Tamar had the same mother as Absalom, as Amnon mentions she was "my brother Abaslom's sister" (vs 4).
