2 Thessalonians 3:13 - Additional Comments

Keeping the faith, and being who God wants us to be is a challenge, but we must never let down, we must never give up. Why? We will reap the benefits, guaranteed.
Gal 6:9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
Gal 6:10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.
Other verses on not growing weary:
Deut 20:8 - "... What man is there who is fearful and fainthearted? Let him go and return to his house, lest the heart of his brethren faint like his heart." Those who get weak or weary bring others down with them. Does the faith you have lift others up or distract them from their faith?
Psalm 27:13 - "I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living." One thing that keeps us going - knowing that God cares for us, and we will see His goodness manifested in our lives.
Isa 40:29 - "He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength." He can give us the strength to be strong when we are feeling weak. He is the source for us to not grow weary.
Luke 18:1-8 - Jesus told us not to grow weary, especially in waiting for God. He gave several parables saying if we persist, God will answer. He also encouraged us to keep up the faith, saying when He returns, who will He find with faith?
2 Cor 4:1,16 - says we do not lose heart because we have received His mercy, and "even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day".
Rev 2:3 says in the end times, to the church at Ephesus, "you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name's sake and have not become weary." May the same be said to each of us on that day.
