The Messiah has made things up between us so that we’re now together on this, both non-Jewish outsiders and Jewish insiders. He tore down the wall we used to keep each other at a distance. He repealed the law code that had become so clogged with fine print and footnotes that it hindered more than it helped. Then he started over. Instead of continuing with two groups of people separated by centuries of animosity and suspicion, he created a new kind of human being, a fresh start for everybody.

He doesn't just bring us peace --- He IS our peace. So we can say either "I have peace in my life" or "I have Jesus in My life". That means any peace we have in our life is the peace because of Him.
In the Temple courts a partition wall divided the court of the Gentiles from the court of Israel with an inscription forbidding a Gentile from going further (Acts 21:28). No such division exists in the church.
