Ephesians 3:18 - Additional Comments

What is this we need to understand? The size of the love of Christ (vs 19).
God loves each person, but people in their lives have tainted their view of the love that God has for them. See the article on "God's Love For You".
We also are giving people their view of the love of God, especially our children. Typically, the way your children view you will very much be how they view God. If we are harsh, they view God as harsh. If we are forgiving, accepting, and loving, that is how they will view God. What picture are we painting to them with our lives? We need to have a passion to be the person God wants us to be, showing His love, so the picture we are painting is a positive view of God.
