Ephesians 4:6 - Additional Comments
Our God is above all - bigger and more powerful than anything else. He will win.
Our God is through all - He is everywhere. None of the other heavenly hosts are everywhere - they are in a single place. Even Satan and his demons can each only be in a single place. This is significant, because the devil rarely works with individuals, because he cannot be everywhere - he has to enlist his demons to have his worldwide influence. He is the ruler of the world, only in that he supervises his demons who have their influence throughout the world. The devil is so much smaller than God.
Our God is "in you all" - in each saint, each believer. Not only is God everywhere around the world, He Himself is also in each Christian. We don't need to pray to other Christians who have passed on (e.g. Catholic saints), for they can only be in one place at one time, and God is already there in each person. There is no way Christians in glory can hear the prayers of all the Christians on earth, because they cannot be everywhere like God is, and these Christians are in glory, away from us, and God is in us.
