Genesis 4:9

And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?

Translations

And the Lord said to Cain, Where is Abel your brother? And he said, I do not know. Am I my brother's keeper?

And Jehovah said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: am I my brothers keeper?

And the Lord said to Cain, Where is your brother Abel? And he said, I have no idea: am I my brother's keeper?

And Jehovah said to Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: am I my brother`s keeper?

Then the Lord said to Cain, "Where is Abel your brother?" He said, "I do not know; am I my brother's keeper?"

And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?

Entonces el SEÑOR dijo a Caìn: ¿Dònde está tu hermano Abel? Y él respondiò: No sé. ¿Soy yo acaso guardián de mi hermano?

God said to Cain, "Where is Abel your brother?" He said, "How should I know? Am I his babysitter?"

Then the LORD said to Cain, "Where is Abel your brother?" And he said, "I do not know. Am I my brother's keeper?"

Entonces el SEÑOR dijo a Caìn: "¿Dònde está tu hermano Abel?" Y él respondiò: "No sé. ¿Soy yo acaso guardián de mi hermano?"

Yahweh said to Cain, "Where is Abel, your brother?" He said, "I don`t know. Am I my brother`s keeper?"

And Jehovah saith unto Cain, `Where [is] Abel thy brother?` and he saith, `I have not known; my brother`s keeper -- I?`

We cannot hide from God, as both Adam (3:8) and Cain found out.
