For indeed I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews: and here also have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon.

Genesis 40:15 - Additional Comments
This is the first time the word "Hebrews" is used. The Hebrews were a fairly small nation at this time, for only 70 moved from Canaan to Egypt after they met Joseph (vs 46:27).
