Once we say these words, i.e. go to God in repentance, God tells us what will result. God will heal the wounds that were incurred while away from God, and suffering the penalties as a result. God will without hesitation love those who repent, for they are no longer angering God.
What an amazing state to be in, to raise the anger of God, as a result of not coming to Him in repentance, with a change of heart.
And what an amazing state to be in, to have God's free love poured out on us, without an anger from God.
Are there any sins you have refused to give up? Are there any sins you have refused to repent? Why do you continue to dwell in the state of angering God, and without His full love?
