Jeremiah 1:12 - Additional Comments

This was Jeremiah's first vision of many, and God praises Jeremiah for his understanding. In the same way God selected Mary far ahead of time, knowing her character and who she would be, God also selects Jeremiah far ahead of time, know who he would become. Jeremiah has developed a faith and character that God could use. We need to be doing the same, developing a faith and character that God can use when He needs someone for His service.
