Are you a follower of Christ? You know the way to His kingdom. But, do you follow Him? Do you know the way to His will, and yet don't follow it? Is there anything you are avoiding, a path to take, a decision to make, an act to do? As He heads to where He wants to go, He asks you to go with Him. Let me ask again, are you a follower of Christ?
They knew the way - the way was to follow Christ! (see verse 6).
Interesting that Jesus was going to a place that they did not really know, nor had they seen it, yet they knew how to get there. In fact, it did not require a map. All it took was to follow Jesus there. (He is returning - verse 3 - so He can bring us there.) This is His final destination, and will also be ours. We follow Him there, and live with Him for eternity.
