This was needed, but they certainly didn't understand this!
His glory is the state He always was at and always will be, except for His short time on earth.
Matt 16:27, 24:30 Christ will return in all His glory.
Mat 19:28 Christ will sit on His throne of glory.
Luke 9:29-36 At the Transfiguration, Christ appeared in His glory. This showed His true state.
