Luke 5:5 - Additional Comments

God's ways are not man's ways - Prov 14:12, 16:25, 30:12
And, we often are also blind to what is wise and truth, and need others to help - Prov 12:15, Eccl 4:13.
We easily deceive ourselves - Gal 6:3. Especially when we hear the word, but don't do it (James 1:22). How often it must be that we deceive ourselves - we hear the word, but don't take it to heart, don't take it home with us, don't change.
God's ways are perfect, and can only lead to success, even if we can't see how that would be.
It's okay to tell God how you feel, as Simon did, but go ahead and obey anyway. We may not always feel like it, but it's still the right thing to do.
