Ha, little did they know what an impossible task this was to be, trying to trap Jesus by His words.
Why was this? Because Jesus knew how anyone would react when He spoke (similar to the movie "Next").
How great a fire is kindled by wrong words! (James 3:5)
Prov 15:1 "A soft answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger."
May we all think through the consequences of our words before they are spoken.
