Simon criticized Jesus for allowing this woman to touch him (Luke 7:39), and His disciples (more than just Judas) criticized the woman for wasting the oil.
Both Simon and the disciples missed the most important points. Simon missed the point that this woman needed love and forgiveness, and the disciples miss the point that Jesus is to be revered above all else. Notice they were indignant, indicated they did not really care about the poor.
