Mark 4:38 - Additional Comments

Despite the storm, water, and wind, Jesus was still sleeping. What peace!
When we sleep, we lose control, and our minds wander involuntarily. I wonder what went through Jesus' mind while He slept!
The disciples here showed anger, panic, fear, lack of faith. It appeared the one they were counting on had no control of this situation. They still had little idea of who Jesus was and the extent of His power. He is God, the one who created the seas!
How we may react in any of our situations with the same reaction -- "Don't You care?!" Yet His care is more than we can know. Don't out children do the same, think we don't care when we do not react the way they want us to react?
If they perished, Jesus would be among them as one who perished. They should have realized that would not happen.
Did Jesus cause the storm? Or did He know it would happen, and that is why He told them to go on the sea?
