Matthew 17:3 - Additional Comments

The appearance of these 2 signifies Jesus did not come to abolish the old law, but to fulfill it. (Matt 5:17-18).
Note that these 2 prophets of old knew Jesus. Since they had gone to heaven they had come to personally know Him. And, of course, Jesus has known them before they were born.
Note also that Moses and Elijah knew each other. Glorified saints shall have the opportunity to know one another. One day we will get to know not only God and Jesus firsthand, but also all of the saints including Moses and Elijah.
